8 weeks after buying a Used Car with service needs my calls are ignored and my car yet to be fixed. No Sales Manager. No Used Car Manager. No General Sales Manager. No one has the stones to call me. At this point, I can only call them liars.
Not the greatest. Was told 1.5 hour wait. That became 3 hours. I was only in for diagnostic service, and they attempted to upsell me about $1000 worth of other things after already extending my wait by 1.5 hours.
Took advantage of me when I was vulnerable and needed a vehicle. Took my down payment, a few weeks later, took the car back and took my livelihood away from me. Uncaring people with zero conscience.
In my experience over the years, buying Volkswagen from Steven’s and Eddy’s they’ve always tried to accommodate my needs. Today’s purchase was by far my funnest experience, from the sales managers to the sales reps to even the finance manager. We bought a 2024 Tiguan SEL R Line and it is beyond perfect as previously owning a 2021 R-Line Tiguan Black Edition. Fantastic cars and great quality for the money spent. Dealership tried to sell me cabin and air filters that had been changed the day before taking the car in for oil and transmission service even after they were advised the filters had already been changed. Was charged more than quoted on the oil change. Since this is the only VW dealership in town, I will not be purchasing another VW.
They charged me for a diagnostics which was incorrect and over $3000 for parts and service (although my copies of the bill only showed $1,500) which did not fix the car and they forgot to change the oil and they claimed that it didn’t have a fueling issue that I also requested to be fixed. I picked up the Passat and it was worse than it was before they worked on it and it still had a fueling issue. Eddy's should be avoided at all cost! Three months ago they took $1,000 as a deposit for an incoming Golf R. They agreed IN WRITING to sell it to me at MSRP. Once the car arrived, the story was still the same. So they pulled my credit and we had a deal in place... Poor service department. Took my 2023 Atlas RLine in for a 1k checkup. Service dept damaged our wheel. They denied doing the damages. Husband had to have the GM pull cameras on the serviced dept to prove they did damages. And cameras showed the service department damaging wheel. Drove 3 wheels to have the service department ‘fix’ wheel which was a crap job. Now having to drive again another 3 hours for them to replace with a new wheel. Will never return to Steven VW for service work. Drive the extra miles in Kansas for an honest volkswagon service department.
Poor customer service. Purchased a 2023 Atlas RLine from Mike Steven Volkswagon. While having the 1k inspection done by the dealership; the service center put a gash in the passenger front wheel due to leaving the arm on the lift out. Service center and GM won’t cover expense of a new wheel let alone take the blame. This is a 60k vehicle that we take great pride in. Take care of customers and they take care of you. They were very fair and worked with me to get my needs accommodated. I go into a dealership with a short list of vehicles I would be considering so I appreciate not being hard sold on things I don’t want and everyone being nice and going the extra mile to do business with me. Genuinely helpful.
After dealing with them on another vehicle which was NOT a good experience, we decided to give them one more try. They kept raising the price of the vehicle, Tons of hidden fees that you can not opt out of. They lied to us repeatedly and and were rude when we pointed it out. Will NEVER go back, not even for warranty work. The warranty work done on a previous vehicle caused more damage and cost thousands of dollars to fix. Horrible place with deceitful people. Make the drive to KC or OKC.
Purchased this vehicle used, with a 30-day 50/50 warranty. As soon as I take it off of the lot, engine light comes on, so I bring it back for them to diagnosed. Ended up in a rental for over a week while they tried to diagnose, and them sending it to another dealership to diagnose. Fine, whatever, figured I could get the answer and have it fixed. Told me that it was the throttle body, a PITA, but not horrible. To expensive for me to replace at the time.

Fuel pump died after only four years and 22,000 miles. They've had our 2013 Tiguan in their shop for over a week and we haven't been given even a ballpark estimate for when we'll get it back. They said they'll fix it after they get paid by the extended warranty (which they sold us). They haven't responded to our texts or e-mails -- we haven't heard a single thing from them since Friday, June 30. Maybe they'll correspond in a more timely manner with corporate or the Better Business Bureau.
My salesman Don Fox went way over and beyond to make sure i was happy with my purchase. He returned all my calls and answered all my questions immediately.I hope to do business with him in the future.

So disappointed in the sales tactics at this dealership. They tell you to buy today because they have a 7 Day Money Back Guarantee -No questions asked! The paperwork is handed to you to sign and explained verbally as to what you are signing but done so quickly that you aren't able to read it. Never was it mentioned that they will keep the dealership fee of $495. Mike Steven you should be ashamed of these employees.
These people sold me a used Beetle that only had 96,000 miles. Should have had a lot of life in it. They refused to come down on price (even though it books at over 1500$ less than what I paid, ultimately I should've walked out) and that car has spent more time sitting in my driveway than it has being useful. Do not use this dealer! I got a call from one of the sales men and got attitude because my phone cut out. This gentleman texted me very rude comments after I let him know that my phone was in and out of service. I wouldn't suggest this dealer to my worst enemies not alone people I know or work with. First let me say I love the two VW's I own but after my recent experience with both VW of America and two dealerships, Northtowne in Kansas City and Stevens in Wichita I will be turning in the Jetta this fall and I will be looking to dump the Touareg when the opportunity presents itself. In the beginning it was a decent experience, it was when I started to do business with them things had turn to the worse. Long story short do not sign anything until your absolutely sure you want the vehicle. The finance dealer will not tell you everything on the contract, he will make you feel like your going to receive your money back 100% back grantee. DO NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!! So do not sign anything nor put payment down until your absolutely sure you want that car.
Did you notice the somewhat reasonable price on the windshield? So do many other prospective car buyers. And what you will discover, like everyone else, is that price is not what the car sells for. So...apparently a new attempt at transparency from this VW dealer. They list prices on autotrader and cars.com - then when you call them up, they tell you the prices are $3k higher...apparently, the price they list online is what they own the car for (their cost). When I leased my Passat in December 2013 I specifically asked the salesman (Frank) if there was a charge at the end of the lease. He left me to ask. At return, he told me there was no charge. Fast forward to hours later in finance when I read the fine print and discover there is a $600 charge at the end of the lease. Steven Volkswagen--you pick. Either Frank is stupid or a liar. They call to have you come in to talk numbers about a new car, if your car was in service. Four people have called me and each time I tell them, I'm not interested. Finally I had to call block them. Seems very unorganized. Will only go there for service until my warranty runs out.

Went to pick up my car at the dealership after them having it for 45 to 50 days, the car had cigarette wrappers and smell, the car was trashed, we found used chapstick and found a Budweiser bracelet from a club or beer tent activity, Starbucks trash and other personal trash from whomever they allowed to drive my car, the work orders only showed the car had been driven 25 miles but the gage read over 800 miles had been put on my car. This is ridiculous and outrageous, we trusted this dealership and service center to uphold their reviews and standards .
Nathaniel, my salesman, has become a friend. He went beyond the call of duty not only to find a car for my needs, but helped me out when I was unfortunately in a car accident the following week. He came to the accident site, helped remove my belongings from the wrecked car and called to check on me over the following days. Bought a used 2012 Passat and 4 days later I took it in because of road noise. They advised that the car needed an alignment and 4 new tires. Since I had traveled to KC for work I was over the 500 mile mark and of course the alignment wasn't under warranty (b/c in their words it could have happened from pot holes). I asked if they checked the alignment or tires when they receive used cars before they sell them. They said the only thing they check is the engine. When discussing the details of the vehicle, the salesman said it was "very clean" and "like new" condition which was believable considering it was a mid-late built 2013 model and only had 7500 miles. We had the pleasure of working with Travis from Steven Volkswagon. We explained to him what we wanted and he showed us three that were perfect for us all within our price range. We had visited other dealerships that show us what we wanted but not in our price range. He was very friendly and patient too, we had our two children with us. ?? I visited Mike Steven VW only a week ago. I was lured in by the online price which is very misleading. My fault for not reading the fine print I guess. I purchased a 2007 Tundra, signed the paperwork, and went on my merry way. After traveling 2 hours home I noticed one of the tires was low. I took it to the tire shop only to discover that there was a plug on the inner tread way too close to the sidewall. The tire needed to be replaced. I had the pleasure of working with Volkswagen for my vehicle purchase my salesman was Travis he's a great guy and got me into the car I really wanted, I'd been to a couple other dealerships before them and while those others were unable to help me Travis and Seth made it happen I was at work when they called to tell me I was approved for my vehicle and it made my experience that much better because they got it worked out when nobody else would! The price they have on the internet is not the price on the window! They suck you in to look and try to screw you! The car needed a few things and they would not negotiate! The price they had on the web (which they said they bought it at that price) was still 2k over what it was worth. They try to pass on the screw to you! We wasted to much time on that place! You have been warned if you are reading this!
